Unlike KOF XIII, KOF XIV's Story Mode is the game's "Arcade Mode" as opposed to the visual novel-esque mode that was featured in the previous game. Upon completing this step, the following trophies will be unlocked: In this step, you will be playing through the game's tutorial as you learn how to play the game and its mechanics, as well as training mode, where you will practice each character's combos and tools as you practice with a training dummy for tournaments. Like other games in this genre, each trophy in this game can be earned in any specific order you want to go with, so you can start at whichever section of the game you want to get out of the way first before moving on with the next.
